Today a.k.a. The coffee at Starbucks didn't taste the same while I was staring at toe-nails painted black

Money spent on books
that told me how to save it
When you’re down and out someday you’re back to make it
I knew my enemy, I heard my rights
But when it’s night I’m lawless
in flashing neon lights

A happy girl indeed,
her wrist tied up in leather
I rather stay away from places where I don’t really matter
Where pirates
chasing Cadillacs
and rusty navy Jeeps
When laughing dark-haired girls
make you sigh at empty seats

  1. Schwarze (Zeh-)Nägel - gruselgrusel! Welche Gedanken hat eine Frau (Mann gibts auch), während Sie sich den Lack aufträgt? Schön, oder?

  2. The stories told are stories told
the ones heard are those we want to hear
living in fear of what might be
when we go to places we think we don't matter
rather staying captured inside the mind
blinded by the realities we create
    life is an illusion
    each step of the way
weather we live out these illusions
or keep them in the head
for the heart body mind and soul it's all the same
so why not take part in being, instead of only creating art. simply and free from the heart.

  6. Lackhandtasche, Lackschuhe, Lacknägel, Lackaffe - egal! Irgendwas wird man sich schon dabei denken.
